Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an easy way for Investor Awareness Index users to stay updated on Index news. When you subscribe to our news feed, your "free reader" will instantly be fed content every time we make it available.
How do I use RSS? Just as you need a radio receiver to get radio programs or Adobe Acrobat to read a PDF, you need a free RSS reader to be able to receive The Index's news feed.
RSS readers allow you to collect and display feeds of content from The Index and other Websites you like. Simply click on the RSS, XML, or orange rectangular icon to subscribe to the feed, and your free reader will automatically retrieve updates. You get new content as soon as it is published.
A single RSS reader will enable you to receive feeds of information not only from the Investor Awareness Index, but from any Website that offers an RSS feed. Imagine receiving Index headlines, football news, and movie reviews in one convenient location.
How do I get a free reader? Both Google and Yahoo! offer free readers. For Google, after you sign in, it's easy to add it to your personalized homepage. On your Google homepage, click on "Add Stuff." Then, along the left, select "Tools." Find "Google Reader" and click "Add it now." Your free reader will appear on the page. (Follow the directions below for subscribing to a feed.)
For MyYahoo!, all you have to do is simply sign in to your account. (Follow the directions below for subscribing to a feed.)
We suggest the free Google and MyYahoo! readers because they're easy, but there are more than 100 free readers available.

How do I subscribe to The Index's RSS feed? Once you have your news reader, keep that browser window open. Then, click on this orange RSS icon (or any of the orange RSS icons found throughout the site)
and choose the reader to which you'd like to add our content. A new window will open. One or two clicks later, The Index's feed will be added to your reader and you'll start receiving content from the Investor Awareness Index-automatically.
You can repeat this process with any Website that offers an RSS feed.
